WANT TO LEARN FROM W-LEAGUE PLAYERS IN GIRLS ONLY SOCCER CLINICS?

Sport and Recreation is pleased to announce the next Girls Football (Soccer) Development Clinics across Sydney in January 2015.

The exciting Ashbury clinic is open to girls aged 8 to 11 years and are looking to gain some extra tips to improve their skills and ability on the football field. The Dulwich Hill clinic is open to girls 12-15 years of age.

The following current W-League players will be conducting the two day clinics:

Sydney FC midfielder Olivia Price who has represented Australia at both under-17 and under-20 level. She played for the Young Matildas in the AFC U-19 Women's Championship. Olivia recently scored her first goal in the W-League. Also in our Girls Football Development team is Melissa Caceres who is a midfielder with Sydney FC. Melissa has represented Australia in the under 20s side. New to the team is Lorena Bugden who is a Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder and former Girls NSW All Schools team. Returning is former Western Sydney Wanderers goalkeeper Georgia Rowntree. Georgia has played for the Australian School Girls team and is currently on a 4 year scholarship in the United States.

The cost is only $45 per person each clinic and runs from 9am to 12pm each clinic day.

- Lees Park, Harmony Street, Ashbury on 12 and 13 January 2015 (8-11 years only)

- Arlington Reserve, Williams Parade, Dulwich Hill on 14 and 25 January 2015 (12-15 years)
