Our All Age 9 As ended the season as Minor Premiers finishing 5 points ahead of 2nd place. In the process they scored 58 goals after 18 games which is an average of over 3 a game and conceded 27.

This team has evolved over the past three years under the stewardship of Lee Stebbing and has brought in some new recruits this year who have taken the team to the next level.

The All Age 9 As play their major semi final this Saturday at 12.20pm against Lakemba As at Beaman Park in Earlwood with the winner progressing straight to the Grand Final and the loser having another chance the week after.

Another team which will be playing a semi final on Saturday are our All Age 13 As. Again they finished as minor premiers scoring 87 goals in 16 games which is almost 5.5 goals a game and conceding 28 for the season.

The team is a mixture of experience and youth with the eldest being 46 years of age and the youngest only 19. Six players are over the age of 40 and the average age of the team is around 34 years old.

The All Age 13 As play their major semi final this Saturday at 12.20pm against Enfield Bs at Nield Park in Rodd Point with the winner progressing to the Grand Final and the loser having another chance next the week after.

On Sunday our Under 21/3s play in an elimination semi final after sneaking into the top 4 following 2 goals in the last five minutes in their final game last weekend.

Many players in this team joined the club two years ago and competed in the Under18s and in the Under21s last year. The first two years were very tough indeed with minimal success and suffered the occasional heavy defeat. However, this year they have become more match hardened and with the help of some additional players, coach Andrew Kazas has created a much more competitive outfit.

The Under21s play their elimination semi final against Earlwood on Sunday at 2.30pm at Ewen Park in Hurlstone Park.

Best of luck to all three teams and if you get a chance why not go out and support them.
