This weekend see the first two teams from the Club compete in the semi finals.

Our Under13 Division 1 girls have remarkably finished as Minor Premiers after going through the season losing just one game and in the process scoring 54 goals and conceding only 8 in a total of 14 games. That is an average of scoring almost 4 goals a game and conceding just over a goal every two games.

What makes the teams success all the more amazing is that less than half the girls turn 13 this year with 4 girls turning only 11 this year (2 of which are yet to turn 11). Also, incredibly this team was playing in Division 2 last year so not only did they step up a division but the conquered it.

Our Under13 Girls play their major semi final this Sunday at 9am against Enfield at Pratten Park Ashfield with the winner progressing straight to the Grand Final and the loser having another chance the week after.

Our other team in the semi finals this weekend are our All Age Sunday men who finished 3rd on the table. Again the team scored an impressive 52 goals and conceded only 12 in 14 games.

Such was the tightness of this competition that the top 4 were separated by only 4 points. Our team is the most successful in the Club's short history winning the Grand Final the last two years. This year they are going for the hat-trick of Championships but will need to win every game in order to do so. They are more than capable.

Our All Age Sunday Men play their minor elimination semi final this Sunday at 2pm against Leichhardt at Bennett Park Roselands with the winner progressing to the Preliminary Final and the loser ending their season.

Best of luck to both teams and if you get a chance why not go out and support them.
