A number of young Cooks River Titans players had the privileged opportunity of representing their Club and walking out at half time onto the main field during the A-League clash last Saturday between Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers in front of over 41,000 spectators at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.

Players and parents were asked to turn up to the ground an hour and a half before kick-off to rehearse how it would all take place and reserve their seats in what was eventually a packed stadium for the much anticipated Sydney Derby.

After a short trip to the other end of the ground to be briefed by the Sydney FC officials the young Titans were ready and met up with their parents before the start of the game. Ten minutes before half-time, the players in their full club kit went back to meeting place in the corner of the field for final instructions before making their way onto the field holding a giant Hyundai Banner which they placed on half way for full view of the sell-out crowd.

The Titans were thrilled to be walking onto the field in close proximity to substitute players warming up and in front of a massive audience generating a fantastic atmosphere. At the end of the half-time break the players gathered up the huge Hyundai Mat and again walked off the ground in almost military style. They then were ushered back to their parents in the grand stand to enjoy the rest of the game. The Club would like to thank all players for wearing the Titans jersey with pride in front of tens of thousands of spectators live and hundreds of thousands of viewers at home.
