A number of young Cooks River Titans players had the privileged opportunity of representing their Club and walking out at half time onto the main field for a mini match during the A-League semi final clash last Sunday between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory in front of over 12,000 spectators at Jubilee Oval in Kogarah.
Players and parents were asked to turn up to the ground an hour and a half before kick-off to receive their tickets and additional information on what they would be required to do.
Fifteen minutes before half-time, the players in their full club kit and promotional t-shirts congregated to the meeting place in the corner of the field for final instructions before making their way onto the field and then playing in a mini game among themselves.
The Titans were thrilled to be on the field in front of a massive audience generating a fantastic atmosphere. At the end of the half-time break the players rushed off back to the meeting place to be collected by their parents. The Club would like to thank all players for wearing the Titans jersey with pride in front of thousands of spectators live and hundreds of thousands of viewers at home.
