Three Titans Selected in Football Canterbury Rep League
Post date: Jun 13, 2022 8:01:32 PM
Inspired by the old “Canterbury Reps” program which proved both popular and successful in the past, the Football Canterbury Representative League was launched in 2022 to provide further opportunities for talented players within Football Canterbury to develop, train, and compete with and against the best players in the association.
There are four regions: North-East, North-West, South-East and South-West. There are 16 teams in this years Football Canterbury Representative League. All four regions (North West, North West, South East, and South West) compete in U10 Boys, U11 Girls, U12 Boys and U13 Girls. Cooks River Titans along with Marrickville FC, Earlwood Wanderers FC and Hurlstone Park Wanderers FC are part of the SE region. The regions will play each other in a round robin style format.
Bobby Lagaros who was selected in last year's inaugural Rep League was again selected in this year's Under10s SE Rep team. This year he was joined by Maxwell Lonsdale who made it as the Rep team goalkeeper.
Se-Ri Francis was also selected to the Under13 SE Girls Rep team. She becomes the club's first female rep player so a remarkable achievement which was probably aided by the fact she plays in our Under15 Girls team so is playing in a competition 2 years above her age.
Well done Bobby, Maxwell and Se-Ri. You've done us proud.
Matches are played at Strathfield Park. The draw can be found here.
