Special Olympics Australia footballers enjoyed coaching clinics hosted by coaches and players from Tottenham Hotspur as well as current English Champions Chelsea who were both in Sydney to play Sydney FC over the past week.
Special Olympics CEO Nicola Stokes invited our Club’s disability co-ordinator George Antonopoulos along with his son Luke to attend the clinics. Also on hand was Titans Patron Andy Paschalides who also works for Special Olympics Australia. Both events were a huge success and brought plenty of joy to all groups involved.
Australia will be sending 76 athletes to the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles in July.
